Reissue of the famous recordings of the nine Beethoven symphonies, made in late 1962, performed by the Berliner Philharmoniker led by Herbert von Karayana. Plates went on sale in 1963 - and it was a sensation! When visiting Germany in 1965 Queen Elizabeth II as a guest-gift, government has presented to the media with these records. It's been a long time and made many other, technologically more advanced, records of the Berlin Philharmonic orchestra, led by different leaders. But, as the critic, formed in 1962, recording superior to all later versions artistic quality. The musicians of the Berlin Philharmonic orchestra, managed by Herbert von Karayana have never been better attitude and motivation, all sound groups of the orchestra played with an unmatched force of inspiration.
