Putting together a piece of music may sound simple but it surely isn't that, especially if the tools that are required for this job are not at hand. Among the many audio editing, recording and mixing applications out there, SunVox comes with a more different approach and is based more on synthesizers and effects.
The interface has all the functions one or two clicks away and you can start from a built-in example to see how this software can be used. The modular architecture of SunVox make sit suitable; for chaining several elements in order to get the sound you want.
One of the best represented synthesizer you will find bundled with this utility is DrumSynth and it is accompanied by a varied assortment of effects like echo, reverb or flanger. There is also an FM synthesizer inside the package and a sampler that is designed to help you load audio files in WAV, AIFF or XI formats.
There is a 3 band equalizer at your disposal, a distortion tool, a vocal filter that emulates human voice, as well as a synthesizer for atmospheric sounds. Exporting your work can be done in WAV format for multitrack projects and SunVox also supports MIDI input and output.
A neat things about this particular software solution is that it can function on a variety of platforms. This means that you can work onto your projects whether at home, at work or on the go enjoying the same ease of use on every compatible platform.
On an ending note, SunVox seems to be well equipped for the job it has to do, but the usage can be quite cumbersome and it may be difficult to understand and use by beginners and even by average users.
