In honour of its 50th Anniversary, George Harrison’s Living In The Material World is being celebrated with a suite of new releases overseen by Dhani & Olivia Harrison and featuring a stunning new mix of the classic album by Grammy Award-winning mixer/engineer Paul Hicks that elevates the album with a sonic upgrade, delivering a sound that’s brighter, richer, and more dynamic than ever before. Living In The Material World 50th Anniversary will be available November 15th via Dark Horse Records / BMG
Limited to 5,000 units globally, the super deluxe edition album contains 2CDs, 2LPs, Blu-ray of Dolby Atmos and 12 previously unreleased Harrison recordings, a 60-page booklet with extensive sleeve notes, photography, and artwork from the Harrison archive, as well as a 7” single of the previously unheard recording of, ‘Sunshine Life For Me (Sail Away Raymond)’ featuring Robbie Robertson, Levon Helm, Garth Hudson, and Rick Danko from the band, alongside Ringo Starr. A 2LP & 2CD Deluxe Edition, Limited Edition color vinyl, including an exclusive George Harrison Online Store purple vinyl HERE and 1LP & 1CD standard versions of the album will also be available alongside streaming.
