Kian Soltani - Cello Unlimited (2021) Hi-Res

Passionné de cinéma depuis sa tendre enfance, le violoncelliste Kian Soltani s'intéresse particulièrement aux musiques originales qui ont participé aux succès des grands films. L'artiste nous présente aujourd'hui, un nouvel album, intitulé "Cello Unlimited", qui rend hommage à deux titans de la musique Hollywoodienne, Hans Zimmer et Howard Shore, ainsi qu'à l'une des figures importantes de la musique soviétique qui écrivit pour le cinéma, Alfred Schnittke. Avec cet album audacieux en termes de conception et de technique d'enregistrement, Kian nous propose ses propres arrangements pour orchestre de violoncelles, chaque partie étant enregistrée par lui-même. Les arrangements individuels sont regroupés en suites, créant pour les films respectifs une expérience d'écoute totalement unique ; y figurent donc des arrangements des musiques pour Pirates des Caraïbes, Le Seigneur des Anneaux, The Bourne Identity ainsi que deux compositions de Soltani inspirées par le cinéma.
