Description
Avizo is a software application for visualizing and analyzing data related to scientific and industrial data.
Avizo allows users to perform interactive visualization and computation on 3D data sets. The Avizo interface is modeled on visual programming. Users manipulate data components and modules organized in an interactive graph view ("pool") or in a tree view. Data and modules can be interactively connected to each other and controlled with several parameters, creating a visual computer network, the output of which is displayed in the 3D-viewer.
Using this interface, complex data can be interactively studied and analyzed by applying a controlled sequence of calculations and process mappings, which leads to meaningful visual presentation and related derived data.
