Description
Welcome! My name is Ron Wehrens and I'm a pharmacist from the Netherlands with 25 years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical and medical supply management in developing countries. In case you are interested, you'll find my CV available for download with the first lecture.During more than 180 international consultancy missions to more than 30 countries, I have worked with hundreds of health workers, logisticians, legislators, finance people and politicians from all kinds of cultural backgrounds. I have learned a lot from these people, for example that improvements can often be made with relatively simple and low-cost interventions. But I also observed that a lot of the skills and tricks that work best were never taught in Medical or Pharmacy school. In this course you will learn many of these techniques and it is my sincere aim to inspire you to use them to further improve your program.Often times they are common-sense concepts and tricks which once seen can never be forgotten.I hope you will find this course inspiring and that it will help you improving people’s access to medicines!I recommend that you enable the subtitles (captions) to these video-lectures as this will make it easier to get the message, even with the volume turned down.Let's start!Ron
