Stop limiting beliefs from holding you back.

The first part of this book explains how and why we make limiting decisions (beliefs) and how that results in creating a painful alternate world in which life doesn't work well.

A step-by-step process for identifying and defusing these limiting decisions is provided. This process shows you how to move from a triggered (angry or upset) state into a state of emotional well-being. (Limiting decisions are unconscious decisions made in early childhood, such as I am bad, not good enough, not safe, a failure, powerless; life is out-of-control; people can't be trusted.)

The second half of this book guides you to an in-depth understanding of the positive way life actually works, introducing a spiritual perspective grounded in your everyday life. This is supported by examples, exercises, and guidelines to help you transform your experiences.

The information in this book is based on a body of knowledge Dr. Jane Ilene Cohen has been tapping into since 1995. This began when she started her NLP TimeLine counseling practice after several life-changing experiences. When she began her practice, Jane took a stand on the principle that life is designed to work. It wasn't a deliberate, conscious decision but more of a soul-level decision.

When Jane took that stand, it felt as though she had walked through a portal in which a whole new way of perceiving reality had become available to her. She started tapping into a body of knowledge she hadn't been aware of before. It was beyond what she had learned from NLP and all her other studies and life experiences. Jane has been tapping into and has been inspired by that body of knowledge ever since. That knowledge is the Life Is Designed to Work thought system she is teaching in this book, and it is central to all the transformative work she does in her private counseling practice since 1995.
