The Covid Pandemic: Unconventional Analytical Essays (2020—2023)

2024 | English | B0CXFC56V4 | EPUB | 397 pages | 9 MB

As the subtitle tells, this book is a collection of essays about the pandemic, which have been published in various venues since March 2020. The author is an epidemiologist and professor emeritus of public health who did not follow the global consensus on upcoming doomsdays, essential lockdowns, social distancing, mask mandates, and Covid vaccines.

These essays try to meet the challenge of explaining scientific content to the layperson. They are data-driven. Written differently, many of them could have been submitted to epidemiology journals. Whether they would have passed the guards is a different question. Actually, one essay describes the fate of three letters to editors of leading medical journals…

The first essay warns against rushing to make a colossal mistake. The last one suggests how published research on Covid vaccines will be viewed 20 years later. In between, you will find many thought-provoking analyses.
