This Yin Yoga Practice is focused on lower body lengthening. The targeted areas of these postures includes the Quadriceps, Hamstrings and Groin area. It is is helpful to have Yoga Blocks and a blanket or towel to support the body during these longer holds. You can also use couch pillows as support if you do not have Yoga Blocks.
Yin Yoga is the practice of lengthening connective tissue by sustaining longer holds in the practice. I encourage everyone to listen to your body for cues and work with breath to connect to the physiological and energetic deepening of the postures. Thanks so much for joining! Namaste :)
