In this class you will learn, How to simplify a painting to gain confidence and move towards achieving realism. Realism is often considered difficult in watercolour. We will focus on 3 major aspects of a realistic painting.
Proportion - Drawing has to be close to perfect, this will define likeliness of the subject. I have used measurement method to draw accurately see lesson 3 Drawing plan
Values and texture - The Values will bring the dimensional component and create the actual painting and texture will compliment the values to bring the realism. Even with single layer of paint this can be achieved if you know the right values.
Simplifying and Defocalize: This will minimise the effort and still attain a better result. Simplifying reduces the anxiety of the painting a larger than skill painting. For realism defocalizing the subject in chunks of bigger values reduces the effort very easily. Identify smaller value groups and paint each value group.
