Welcome to a fun and festive class on painting Poinsettias in watercolors. Painting flowers has always given me immense joy but Poinsettias are hands down my favourite flowers to paint! It could be the bright colors or the fact that they bloom during the most beautiful time of the year! So in this class, I have tried to share three different ways in which you can paint this flower.
We try out the Ink and watercolor style, loose watercolor style and a more realistic approach in three beautiful projects. I hope you will find joy in painting these and share them with your loved ones this festive season.
What you will need -
Watercolor paper ( preferably 100 pc cotton - you can use a lower gsm as well since we dont have extensive washes)
Watercolors - There is a separate section for the color palette but mainly you just need a vibrant red and green and tiny bits of yellow and brown
Brushes - Two good round/mop brushes - one medium size for the larger areas and a smaller one for detailing.
And that's it! We are all set to dive into some Poinsettia goodness!
