ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors is a full-featured suite of office applications that support the creation and editing of documents, spreadsheets and presentations of Microsoft Office formats, as well as other popular document formats, including OpenDocument. The functionality of editors can be expanded with plug-ins (including ones written independently).

By installing ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors, you can work with documents without an Internet connection. Editors also provide for the ability to quickly switch to online mode for organizing collaborative work. In addition, using the desktop version of editors allows you to get away from browser limitations, which inevitably arise when working with the online version of editors.

In practice this means
• Higher performance: No more problems with large files and long jumps.
• Copy and paste using the keys: To copy or paste text from another document, you can use the buttons on the toolbar of the editor itself or the context menu while while working in the web version you can perform these operations only with the keys Ctrl + C / Ctrl + V.
• Sending the document directly to the printer: You no longer need to save the document in PDF format in order to print it.
• Local fonts: All fonts available on the PC will be automatically downloaded to the editors.
• Language localization: When you edit a document using a desktop application, the document language is automatically selected. You no longer need to select the language of each paragraph manually, as in the online version.
