Legacy Pilots - The Penrose Triangle (2021)

The Hamburg-based musician Frank Us looks back on a long musical career. He played in a few local bands before turning music into his profession, successfully composing jingles for products and companies. His secret love is and has always been the progressive rock that had the biggest musical influence on him.

"This is the third album from the pilots. And from what I can recall from over the last one and a half years, this is the largest production we have done so far. The musicians have been fantastic (as usual) and there have been many moments when I thought: this can’t get any better. While this album is not only a progressive piece, but also consists of some popular influences, I personally feel it is great that this release is in the same year when we celebrate the 50th anniversary of “Tarkus” which I consider to be the absolute masterpiece in progressive rock (look out for an Easter egg in one of the tracks)."
