Yvonne is equally at home performing all styles of music in solo, chamber, and orchestral settings. She also plays historical and traditional flutes and enjoys her collection of over fifty flutes. She has traveled nationally and internationally as a flutist and teacher throughout the U.S., Hungary, Bulgaria, Greece, and England.Yvonne grew up in a small town in New Mexico. She comes from a Mexican-American family and proudly identifies as Latina.
