Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra - Carl Nielsen Concertos (2019) FLAC

The first Swedish recording of Nielsen's three solo concertos, here with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and three of their leading soloists: Malin Broman violin, Anders Jonhäll flute and Andreas Sundén Clarinet.

The recordings were made at concerts in autumn 2015 in Berwaldhallen Stockholm. The three young conductors who participate have brilliant careers to look forward to.

Joana Carneiro has been Principal Conductor for the Orquestra Sinfónica Portuguesa in Lisbon since 2014, as well as being a popular guest conductor around the world. Philipp von Steinaecker has worked extensively with Claudio Abbado and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, with the Swiss Festival Orchestra in Lucerne, and with John Eliot Gardiner and the Orchestre Révolutionaire et Romantique Juraj Valcuha has regularly held the baton for prominent European and US orchestras such as Leipzig’s Gewandhausorkestern, the London Philharmonia, the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington DC.
