Finger - edited Boogie and Disco Tracks from Boston's Undergound of the 70's and 80's. What links giants of the pop Business like Aerosmith, Donna Summer and the Cars? Right, they're from Boston. But what many do not know: during the Seventies and Eighties, a lively disco Culture flourished In the undergound of the Eastern coasts. What was it with this on, encouraged by the DJ, producer and Bassist Serge game Bourg in meticulous research work to the light of day. His Compilation " Boston Goes Disco!"based on a 20-year-old gathering activity, Acts such as the Chris Rhodes Band, Gypsy, Cojo, Royale, Hypnotics, Dreamlight or Christopher Michael band performers, who at best gained local fame in Massachusetts, published on micro Labels or released their Tracks as private Pressure. Many of the artists came to Boston from different Parts of the country to study at Berklee College of Music. "A lot of these cats came here real young to study from various parts of the country, met the other band members and wrote music and performed locally before fnishing their studies and moving on," Gamesbourg explains. He edited most of the Tracks for re-publishing.
