Kate Simko - We Believe in Dinosaurs (Original Score) (2019)

We Believe in Dinosaurs is a documentary telling the story of the building of a $120 million recreation of Noah’s Ark in Kentucky. It’s a gripping documentary in the vein of Jesus Camp, telling its tale through the perspective of three Kentuckians. DJ, electronic music producer and London Electronic Orchestra leader Kate Simko composed the original score for the film, which will be out digitally on Dec. 13.
“‘Heart of Kentucky’ is the music in the opening titles sequence, as well as my initial demo scene,” said Simko. “These three minutes are the closest thing to my sonic interpretation of the film.
There’s an underlying feeling of tension, but that’s contrasted with beauty, mystery, and the precision of science.”
