Since her explosion onto the publishing scene all those years ago, Suz has become widely recognized as one of the leading voices in romantic suspense. She has two grown children, Melanie, who is a personal trainer and novelist, and Jason, who is an actor, producer, screenwriter and novelist. Suz also has two miniature schnauzers, C.K. Dexter-Haven and Little Joe, both of whom (unlike Mel and Jason) still live at home.

In addition to writing books, Suz has co-produced several feature-length indie movies, the rom-com The Perfect Wedding, which she co-wrote with Ed and Jason, and the upcoming thriller Russian Doll. She has also co-written the Night Sky series of YA paranormals with Melanie, and created a line of m/m category romantic comedy novellas called Suzanne Brockmann Presents.

The Books

Four plot lines are expertly interwoven to create a love story-cum-thriller in the latest work by veteran romance author Brockmann (Bodyguard), winner of two Romantic Times Career Achievement Awards and a two-time RITA finalist. Then Tom glimpses a terrorist he once pursued who’s supposed to be dead, but his antagonistic superiors attribute the unlikely sighting to his head injury. Brockmann keeps the tension high, while also revealing the heartbreaking wartime secret shared by Kelly’s father and Tom’s beloved uncle. Another subplot involving Tom’s niece also plays nicely into the dramatic finale as Tom and a makeshift team must take on terrorist bombers unaided. With its shift in focus from romance to the action subplot, this novel would make a terrific movie
