Advanced Engrams for a Thinking Computer

Engrams are the computer programs of the brain. Engrams are written using the instruction set of the human brain as described in my previous book "The Design of a Thinking Computer" (Amazon 2012). This new book, "Advanced Engrams for a Thinking Computer", describes abstract ideas, which are shown to be the basis of intelligence. Engrams implementing state machines built from these abstract ideas are presented and shown to be a powerful mechanism of thought. Included is software (Windows XP through Windows 10) the reader may download from the internet. The software demonstrates the advanced engrams and allows the reader to write and run new engrams. The software includes a large engram file containing over 17,000 cognitive links storing everyday knowledge. The reader may run this engram file to read and understand a wide range of sentences and sequences of sentences. Patent pending. The author has been designing computer for over 45 years and has many patents in the field of computer design.
