Aarvo is a creature of rock. The last one of his kind, born from the very womb of the moon, Aarvo lives alone. All the living things that had once populated the moon have now melted into dust.

But Aarvo does not want to surrender to his fate and decides to escape to Eera, the huge green planet that shines above him in the sky.

Aarvo embarks on an epic exploration that will take him across the boundless expanses of the moon: from the mysterious prairies of the far side, populated by space monsters and ghosts, to the endless plains of the near side, where his ancestors' past lies forgotten under mountains of dust.

In a journey beyond the impossible, Aarvo will unearth the planet's past and with it a creature swallowed by the sands of time. But what is this creature? Is it friend or foe? Can it help him escape to Eera or is it nothing more than a hand extended from the past to hold him still more firmly to his inescapable fate?
