Some nights you get handcuffed to your enemy and race through a megacity with a valuable data tab in your stomach while two corps chase you. This is one of those nights.

Elly Henderson is a trained engineer working as a mechanic in the slum district. Let’s just say, her life’s gotten a little off-track since her revolutionary engine design was stolen by Cadinoff Corp one year ago—specifically, by Myka Benton, Cadinoff’s loyal footservant.

At a tech expo, Elly has an opportunity to reclaim her design and get her life back on track. She’s only partially successful, and—worse—she ends up handcuffed to Myka and on the run from not one but two big corporations. Now, Elly and Myka must work together to get to neutral ground while dodging corporate soldiers and mercenaries. The question throughout: Who will get the design once the handcuffs come off?
