PAPISA is Rita Oliva, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in São Paulo, Brazil. She released her debut EP released in 2016 and toured some of the main stages in Brazil as well as festival SXSW en Austin-TX. Her first LP, Fenda was out in 2019 presenting a moody, introspective atmosphere while approaching themes like impermanence and the cycles of death and rebirth. In 2023 she started to pave the way for her next and more sunny record releasing new single Melhor Assim, followed by Dores no Varal in 2024. Inspired by love and delirium and now produced by Tagua Tagua, she renews her indie dreamy pop environment, sounding sometimes spicy, sometimes sweet, but always Brazilian.
