hehe. My first records were 45's and some '78's. My siblings & I had an old 45rpm player. I collected everything from Vin Scully-narrated Dodgers stories to Disney stories, nursery rhymes set to music, Italian folk songs, early American songs by Stephen Foster, Carl Sandburg, etc.
Prob one of the first 33 1/3 LP's I bought was one of the bastardized U.S. Capitol Records releases of the Beatles. It was an early one, I forget the title, but I think it was a collection of singles. The tune we played the most was "Komm Gib Mir Deine Hand."
