planetlife MFSK Follow These Steps: 1.There is an option to keep broken files check it and extract the files since it is a checksum error extracted files will be fine. 2.If Step 1. fails Try repairing the file with winrar. 3.If Step 2. fails Redownload the files.
zemane I open all my .rar files with 7zip, and I've never encountered any problems. In fact, I never had RAR installed on my Windows 10 laptop. Give 7zip a chance. And it costs nothing to use (is free, as in "free beer"), and have a very little footprint.
MFSK zemane yeah, was thinking of getting that app. I had one installed before on my old computer, forgot to get that after I got his mine several years ago.
Ferdyfred004 MFSK The file is corrupted, it is usually happen to me if i download using 3rd party leechers or debrid services. You can redownload directly from the main website not using debrid/leechers, if your debrid/leechers service save the file localy for spesific link, otherwise you could end up downloading the corrupted file again.
putraputra MFSK Sometimes those happened because too much threads/connections used when downloading the file. like [Login to see the link] said, you can try repair the file with winrar utility. Try to limit threads when downloading.
jshm2 Try downloading the file via browser instead of using any program. But another thing to do is run a disk scan. Especially if you've HDD's as your "download drive".
MIZANing MFSK First To post an image, put your link in this structure: It will look like this: Second, try to download the corrupted files again and then extract the data. This will work most of the time and is what I do when this problem happens to me.
MFSK MIZANing oh thank you, I was actually searching for help in doing this, some of my previous post I was able to do this but when I post one of my iso again, I can't seem to show the images, good thing you posted this tut. 🙂
arransmar I had few times when the packed file needed to be unpacked with specific version of 7-zip instead of WinRAR. May be this is the case. Please investigate further on required software and version. I don't remember exact error wording. Have luck.
MFSK arransmar the files I noticed all the downloads are in .rar format. can you tell me how to determined what version should I do? Should I asked the sharer/uploader? Thanks for the input.
MFSK robbbbert I was thinking that as well, I'll try to get a cracked one or the 7zip instead. Thank you.
restfulwait Checksum errors are usually fine. 7-Zip don't show such errors. For WinRAR, I try to re-download them with another host. If the error comes again, I close the error without breaking and check the size of the extracted files. It usually don't affect the extraction.
