Excellent and very interesting post! I have a comment about "scientific observability" and "chiral symmetry."
About 20 years ago (and continued 15 years ago), I created a theoretical mathematical system that functioned on a 360º 3D axis (yeah, I know that doesn't make perfect sense!--LOL), because of this simple syllogism:
Humans are not Divine;
Human scientific thought has roots in hubris;
Therefore, ALL human scientific systems are flawed.
Naturally, I include myself in this! The first instinct when reading that syllogism would be to accuse me of Judeo-Christian simplemindedness, but while I am a Believer, I have an EXTREME human scientific background. Because of "scientific observability," the more mathematics I learned; the more error-ridden I considered the "accepted" scientific and mathematical systems.
Out of that, I began creating a mathematical system that functioned on a 360º (or multi-spacial) 3D axis, but in 2D planar space, could only be represented by the Cartesian coordinate system (a requirement).
Here's the real humdinger: ONLY the human mind can envision the multi-spacial 3D axis for the root of the mathematical system--even a 2D screen simulating a 3D model is NOT a fully complete 3D representation--hence, the requirement of the Cartesian coordinate system, since it has been accepted by the scientific and mathematics community.
A simple, 2D, visual analogue would be a crossword puzzle; wherein, a set number of boxes along a horizontal or vertical axis would contain a character representation of the mathematical system (problem, formula, etc.); but, the mathematical system would NOT be limited by a specific direction.
Each problem or formula (or another description that one likes--LOL) could run in any direction of the "crossword puzzle," and each solution by direction of listed formula would be different, but analogous. This is a form of the "chiral symmetry."
HEEEAAAVY SHIT, right, dude? 🙂
About every 5-8 years, I return to it and add some more, though I'm running out of time due to age LMAO!! ROCK ON!
