[Login to see the link] - I don't know if you've ever moderated a forum, but it's a grueling, mind-numbing job. The vast majority of people that moderate forums, do this entirely free and voluntary. After having moderated forums many years back, I can tell you that I would never moderate another forum again, not even for a large salary.
Forum moderators (not just SoftArchive, but elsewhere) contribute hundreds, often thousands-of-hours of their lives. That's time they could have spent with their wife, their children, their family, friends, etc. In exchange for .. ultimately .. nothing.
There are times we all disagree with moderators; not just SoftArchive, but among various sites on the Internet. As much as we disagree with them, it's important to recognize and respect the amount of time/effort they invest to do the job.
I am a huge fan of [Login to see the link] as much (if not more) than anyone on the site. [Login to see the link] is a friend of [Login to see the link] and they both respect each other, because both of them are valuable contributors to the site and they're both working towards the same goal of making this a great site.
Not to mention... Everyone makes mistakes. No one is perfect.
I am not writing this to criticize you. Rather, I'm hoping you can step-back and look at things from a fresh perspective. One where you appreciate how difficult it is to "moderate" these forums. It truly appears much easier than it is; as users we see only a fraction of their work-product.
