Hi, thebuzzard
You quoted the parable of the other Lazarus. I don't need to prove anything. What I have related is to be lived out individually. It doesn't matter if the person is Buddhist, Evangelical Christian or Catholic, Jewish, Atheist etc... all will have to go through the reincarnation process (it is a natural process). Doubting or betting against it. It is a waste of time. I respect all religions. For example, I love listening to the recitation of the Koran (even though I don't understand Arabic). There are, in reliable spiritualist houses in Brazil and all over the world, reports of pastors of Christian churches who bear witness by means of psychography (the medium writes what the spirit dictates to him), repenting that they spent their lives preaching something that did not correspond to the truth. For, they believed that life was finite (one incarnation); but they themselves discovered that there are several lives (reincarnation). Like in the parable of the other Lazarus quoted by you; they asked the incarnates to transmit by means of their psychography their testimony that there is reincarnation (life after death). In my religion no one tries to convince anyone of anything. The Spiritist doctrine codified by Kardec (Cf. [Login to see the link]) is based on Science. There is therefore no conflict between religion and science. There is, a case that was told in a Public TV program, in Brazil, in which the interviewee relates that in a European city, a mother and her small daughter were moving in a public transport. When the transport passed by a certain street, the girl shouted to her mother that she had already lived in a house she pointed out. The mother then stated that since the girl was born she had lived in the current house that was not the one the girl pointed out. The girl insisted on visiting the house pointed out. The mother accepted and they both went to the door of the residence. They clapped their hands and an elderly man answered. The mother told the old man about her daughter's curiosity. The elderly man was very incredulous to hear the story. Then, the girl, who had never been there until then, took the old man's hands and told her that she would prove that she was telling the truth (that she had lived in that house). She went into the house and, in a certain room of the house, asked the old man to dig a brick wall. The elderly man dug the wall. And, inside the wall there was a certain amount of money (in rolled up notes). Summary of the story: the girl was currently the reincarnation of the old man's ex-wife. The rolled up notes, placed inside the wall by the old man's ex-wife, were part of a prank made by the couple. After this discovery, both the child's mother and the elderly man started to believe in the girl.
