It occurred to me that the underlying topic here is about achieving better privacy & speed when browsing.
That reminded me to recommend SearX to others. It's like having your own privacy search engine.
It requires Linux, but if you're a Windows person you can always throw it in a quick VM.
No tracking, faster, and aggregates results from multiple search engines you choose, along with other configuration options.
