pimpomatic99 - I'm sorry, I did a bad job of explaining. I'll try to clarify.
By including the actual URL, I did not intend to suggest that you needed to enter your queries this way. That was not my intention.
Rather, I needed to be able to demonstrate my suggestion. The easiest method was for me to provide a link that someone could click to see quickly how it works.
Once you click my link, you would see the criteria in the search box and you could then re-use my example.
I then went on to explain the reason why my URL might not be clear, to help people understand there is nothing special being done.
However, there is one reason why you may need to use the URL version (rather than the search box). There are times when the search box gets "stuck' and won't change categories, etc. When you run into those situations, you can just paste the URL if you prefer (or back out to the original intro page and just start again with a fresh query).
In short: Yes, I had intended to suggest that people could just query using the new syntax I provided, which definitely can be done directly in the search box, just as with other queries :-)
