I understand [Login to see the link] 's issue, and [Login to see the link] 's response--anytime you have a Forum wherein a mandatory language is used, a balance must exist for native and non-native speakers; otherwise, its all gibberish (LOL).
Back to [Login to see the link] 's issue (or similarly relevant), I've read request threads that I didn't have the item, but have had, as we say in the architectural biz, "alternates but equal allowed" (when specifying a product).
Obviously, "alternates but equal" wouldn't apply to fresh requests, say...14 to 21 days old. But, what about requests that are months old and bumped to no avail? I've been tempted to post in the request (in case others are searching) this site:

It's pretty useful, and I've even found some of the recommended alternatives on SANET. There are a few other similar sites.
Perhaps a Forum sticky that suggests "If your request hasn't been filled within XXX amount of days, please consider checking out these alternative software sites. Afterwards, check to see if the alternative or similar software has been posted on SANET."
