From soulful, swinging jazz-drenched grooves, to burning organ-driven rockers and smoky lilting ballads, A Kind Of Love 1967-1971 captures the sounds of swinging London at its finest during the heady days of the late 1960s. This is the British 60s rock act which bridged genres and left behind some indelible music including their landmark cover of Bob Dylan's "This Wheel's On Fire", subsequently re-recorded for use as the theme to TV's 'Absolutely Fabulous'. Their exhilarating blend of Stax/Volt R&B funkiness, mixed with swirling psychedelic rock and jazz, sounds as fresh and exciting today as when it was first recorded.
